Tips
The solicitation or acceptance of tips is prohibited.

Appearance
While there is no specific guideline regarding hair length or facial hair, we require staff to maintain a neat and professional appearance throughout the summer.

Piercings
Earrings are acceptable; multiple sets of earrings and other forms of body piercing are not.

Uniforms
Wekeela is a uniform camp. When you arrive, you will purchase your T-shirts and sweatshirt. While we do not require uniform shorts, we do require that you bring an adequate solid colored supply. We also require that staff bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the particular activity you are teaching.

Medical Requirements
Every staff member must have a medical examination before camp begins and a completed medical form in our infirmary. This form was mailed to you with your contract. You can not begin employment at camp without returning this completed form.

Driving to Camp
Our insurance policy for camp requires certain information concerning your license and driving record. If you plan to drive to camp, please bring your car registration and insurance coverage.

Convictions and Charges
It is our understanding that you have no felony convictions or charges of child or sexual abuse. If this is not the case notify the camp office immediately but in any event prior to your arrival.

Citizenship
We are required by the Federal Government to verify the citizenship status of each of our employees. If you have a U.S. passport, we only need a copy of the information page. If not we need a copy of your driver's license and a copy of your birth certificate or social security card attached to the I-9 form sent to you with your contract.
